Who Has Conqueror’s Haki? All 29 One Piece Users (2026)

29 characters have shown Conqueror’s Haki in the One Piece manga so far. The newest is Sanji, who unlocked it in Chapter 1197 with black lightning and a kick that shattered a Holy Knight’s armor. That means the whole “monster trio” of Luffy, Zoro and Sanji now has it. Below is the complete list of every Conqueror’s Haki user, when they first showed it, and who can coat their attacks with it.

What is Conqueror’s Haki?

Conqueror’s Haki (Haoshoku Haki) is the rarest of the three kinds of Haki. Silvers Rayleigh says only one person in a million is born with it. It cannot be learned through training like Observation or Armament Haki: you either have it or you don’t, although it can awaken later in life, as it did for Sanji. Users can knock out weaker people with sheer willpower, and the strongest can coat their attacks in it, which shows up as black lightning around the hit and lets them strike without even touching their target.

New: Sanji unlocks Conqueror’s Haki in Chapter 1197

For years Sanji was the only member of the monster trio without Conqueror’s Haki, and fans argued about whether he would ever get it. Chapter 1197, “Love is Defense”, settled it. Fighting the immortal Holy Knight Killingham on Elbaph, Sanji realised he needed more than Armament Haki to break Killingham’s Omen armor, a defense that only Conqueror’s Haki can pierce. After calling himself Luffy’s shield next to Zoro the sword, black lightning appeared around him and his kick broke both Killingham’s spear and his helmet. Who can coat attacks with Conqueror’s Haki?

Coating attacks in Conqueror’s Haki is a skill only the very strongest fighters have shown. Kaido called it something only a chosen few, those with the qualities of a King, can do. These 14 characters have done it:

Sanji’s Conqueror’s kick in Chapter 1197 puts him on this list right away. Whether he can do it at will is one of the big questions for Chapter 1198.

Which Straw Hats have Conqueror’s Haki?

  • Monkey D. Luffy: first shown at Amazon Lily (Ch. 495), learned to coat attacks in Wano.
  • Roronoa Zoro: awakened in Wano (Ch. 1010) while fighting Kaido, and used it with Oden’s sword Enma to beat King.
  • Sanji: unlocked on Elbaph in Chapter 1197.

No other Straw Hat has shown it. Jinbe, Robin, Franky, Brook, Nami, Usopp and Chopper fight with Armament and Observation Haki, Devil Fruits or their own techniques.

Characters who don’t have Conqueror’s Haki (yet)

Some big names are often assumed to have it, but the manga has never confirmed it:

  • Blackbeard: an Emperor with two Devil Fruits, but no confirmed Conqueror’s Haki.
  • Sabo: Luffy’s brother and Ace’s successor to the Mera Mera no Mi, not confirmed.
  • Monkey D. Dragon: the world’s most wanted man, whose powers are still a mystery.
